Umm...Bring On The Baby

So...I'm a little in shock! I had my normal doctors appointment this morning and thought nothing of it. Just thought we would talk about the sonogram, have a normal check up and set a date for inducement(my doctor likes to deliver the baby the week of your due date no matter what). Well we start talking about a date and it turned out to be sooner then I thought. Because Grayson will at the least be 8.5lbs she wants to deliver him early to be sure that baby and mom are safe and healthy.
You can ask Kevin, that for the last couple weeks I've been ready to have this baby. I've been talking to Grayson telling him that he can come whenever he wants and hoping I can make it through the last 4 weeks. Well I guess my wish came true. We'll be having this baby two weeks early. January 5th is the day!

December 16, 2008

It's about that time!

Yesterday we had another sonogram. Grayson was not being cooperative and had his hands crossed over his face and would not move them, but he was more then willing to show off his spine. So we didn't get a profile look at him. Even though he wasn't willing to show off that face of his, he is growing well at 6lbs and 17.9in long. At the rate he is growing they said he should be around 8.5lbs and just over 18in long. Only 4 1/2 more weeks and we couldn't be more excited!

Yay For Thanksgiving

So this was our first year away from family for thanksgiving. It was weird to think that it just might be us, but we got together with another family from our ward. Dinner was amazing. After doing some eating we watch some football and then went out shopping. We got ourselves a new Christmas tree. Kevin wasn't sure about getting a fake tree but I guess I talked him into it. Thanks Hun!

Two Months and Counting

"This is my wife when she is prego."-Kevin

So here I am at seven months. I feel like I can't get much bigger, but I still have two months to go, so we'll see.

November 12, 2008

So True!

I saw this a had two thoughts. First-how true! My feet just seem so far away. Second- oh how I wish I could get a pedicure every week! Kevin went with me a couple weeks ago to get one and it was amazing!

Halloween fun

Last night we were going to carve our pumpkins but Kevin wasn't feeling very well so I ended up just carving my pumpkin. Hopefully he will be feeling better to get his done, but I have a feeling I might end up doing it. Anyways...here is a look at my pumpkin.

Oh Baby

So I just made it to my six month mark!
I'd say it's all down hill from here, but who am I trying to fool. I've felt very blessed to have a pleasant pregnancy so far. I didn't really get sick, had a week of bad back pain around my 14th week. But other then that things have been good until now. In the past few weeks the back pain is always there, my feet are starting to swell and hurt from the extra weight and getting around is harder in general.
Needless to say we are more than excited to have this little addition to our family.

Aww Puppy!

How cute is this! A couple weeks ago we decided to get Jojo a friend. At first they didn't get along so well but they are learning to love each other. We spent all Saturday morning driving around to different adoption places to try and find a dog, without much luck we gave up. But as soon as we got home I jumped on craigslist and there she was, our little Bella.

Our Cute Little House.

I have finally found my camera cord, so as promised pictures of the house. Well really just one picture for right now.

It's still crazy to think that a month ago we were looking at apartments and now we are living in and able to buy this house. It all happened so fast! But as you can see from the boxes on the front pourch, we are still in the messy unpacking phase. So when we get all settled I'll post some pictures of the inside.

September 29, 2008

Moving Day!

So we closed on our house this morning and can't wait to move in tomorrow!

September 19, 2008

We Can't Wait!

So we have been in our temp housing for about a month now and only have a week and a half left. As nice as it has been we can't wait to get into our own place and get our own stuff back! About two weeks ago we put an offer on a house down here in Texas and by next Friday we should be closing! It's an older house but we are buying it from flippers so it all fixed up inside so we wont have to do much but unpack when we move in.
I wish I had pictures to show but the camera cord got packed by accident, so once I find it we'll get some pictures up.

September 15, 2008

It's A Boy!

So we found out last week that we are having a little baby boy. We couldn't be more excited! We are still in our temp housing down here, so no scanner yet meaning no picture. Sorry.

Life In Texas

I feel like there really isn't anything new going on. We made it down to Texas with no problems. We are in the process of trying to find a place to live and can't wait to have our stuff back. It took a little bit but we did find a doctor down here and will have our ultrasound on Thursday to find out if we are having a boy or girl! Well I think that's it. Really not much going on just waiting to start life in our own place.

So You Think You Can Dance...

So I am super sad to see the season come to and end, but I wanted to share some of my favorites from the season.

Last but not least Kevin and I both loved this one! Every time I hear this song I can't help but think of this dance.

Weekend in Dallas

This last weekend Kevin and I headed down to Dallas to check thing out and look at what areas we might want to live in. Since we wont really need to find a place until October, when our temp housing ends, we decided to take Saturday and play. That morning we went to the aquarium for a couple hours and then off to Ripley's Believe It Or Not and Wax museum.
When you first walk in you walk into this huge jungle like room. It has like 4 levels and as you walk through it you slowly make your way down to the aquarium below.
The birds would just fly around freely. This one actually almost hit Kevin in the head. There was a bird right next to him but as I was getting ready to take the picture this one came and land on his head but found the branch instead.
Some of the fish we saw we couldn't really believe. This one is called a leafy seahorse. When they swim by the seaweed you can hardly tell the difference.
They had a walk through under the shark tank. The saw sharks would just sit on the top of the walk through. It's hard to tell in the picture but their month look just like human lips but flattened out.
I can't remember the last time I went to the aquarium but we had a blast and couldn't help but think about how much fun it will be to take our child there.

July 30, 2008

Sad news. :(

So we had a little misunderstanding about our appointment today. We thought we were having our second ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby, but in actuality we were just listening to the heart beat and getting my blood drawn. Listening to the heart beat was cool we could also hear the baby moving and kicking. Blood work was not so much fun.

What a week!

I know it's only Monday but I feel like this has been the busiest week ever. Saturday we started putting in our new floors. It's been an adventure but we are almost there! I'm really excited but we only get to enjoy them for a few weeks.

Then on Wednesday we get our second ultrasound and we get to find out if it's going to be a boy or girl! Kevin and I are hoping for a boy so he can take car of the others when they get older, to look out for our little girls. Any Ideas, boy or girl?

Thursday morning we are off to Dallas for the weekend to check out the area and try and find a place to live! Still weird to think that we will be living down there. The movers came on Friday to survey our stuff, at that point it felt so real. Talking about packing everything up what needs to come with us and what needs to go in the truck with them. But hopefully we can find a nice area this weekend and really start looking when we get down there.

July 14, 2008

The Upcoming Move!

So It is offical! We are moving to Dallas! After 6 interviews, a month of waiting, only 3 more weeks and we'll be down in Texas. I don't even know what to say, we are still in shock about the whole thing.

July 2, 2008

Our Baby!

So It's hard to really see in this picture but in the top one you can see the baby's little eye and ear. In both pictures you can see a hand sticking out from behind the head. At this point the baby is only a little bigger then and inch long. So yeah...it's not the best picture but it's our baby!

June 25, 2008

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

OK...so it's been awhile since I've last posted and some big news has been brewing. Kevin and I are excited to say that we are expecting our first child on January 18, 2009! We had our first ultrasound today and it was so fun to see the baby. We also saw the heart beat, it's too early to hear it but we definitely saw it. We are excited more then words can say!
Another big news flash it that we will most likely be moving to Dallas. Kevin applied for a promotion on a whim and it turned out to be promising. We should know more by the end of next week. Who knows...we may be off to Dallas by the end of July.

Six Flags

So on our last day in Dallas we went to Six Flags. We were both really excited about it, but it didn't last long. On our 2nd ride Kevin hurt his tail bone and couldn't even sit without being in really bad pain.
This is Kevin and I and the Batman ride. We stode in line for an hour but it was worth it.
Becuase we couldn't do anymore rides we just walked around looking at the litte shops. We found this guys that was blowing glass. It's hard to tell in the picutre but he was making a little humming bird. It was very interesting to watch.

Every Thing Is Bigger In Texas

There was a lot to do in Dallas and we took advantage of it. The first night we were there we went to Studio Movie Grill. It's a movie theater and restaurant in one. It was a fun concept and we wish they had one up here. While we were in the movie a storm rolled in. So when we went to leave it was pouring (I've never seen it rain that had ever). This was bad because we didn't know where we were going, we couldn't even see the lane lines and we kept getting stuck on the turnpikes. We finally made it back to our hotel to find out that there was a tornado watch in affect. We were kind of excited about it we thought it would be fun to see a tornado from a good distance but on luck.

The second night we went to a dinner and a show with one of Kevin's co-workers. It was placed in medieval times with a full meal and a show full of fun.

They placed us in groups by the color of the crown you were given. Kevin loved wearing his!

It was really dark in there but these are some of the horeses and knights awaiting the fights.

This was our knight after winning his fight!

I think this was the best part. Near the end the stared jousting, you could obviously tell it was all fake but it was still fun to watch.

Fun In Phoenix!

Last week we had a week of travel, our first stop was Phoenix for a few days. The first night we were there we just went out to eat and relaxed. The next night we thought it would be fun to go see another baseball stadium. So we made our way downtown. We found this cute little Mexican restaurant then made our way over to the game.

The stadium it's self was really nice. We were surprised how calm it was though. If you have ever been to a Mariners games fans are going crazy, the music is loud, people are yelling. But there the fans were calm and the atmosphere was just a lot quieter.

While walking around downtown we found a Hard Rock Cafe and just took a picture. We have never been there before but didn't have time to stop.

I thought these cacti were so cute for some reason and Kevin made fun of me for it. So a funny story, I went to touch them to see if they were really pokey. I touched the front one on the right and it wasn't pokey at all. So as Kevin went to take a picture of me and the cactus I posed as if I was sitting on it and got poked, but I got too close and got poked really hard. Kevin just laughed at me, but it really hurt.

The Best Two Years!

Monday was our two year anniversary and we just took the day to visit some fun spots in Washington(next week we are going to Phoenix and Dallas for a real anniversary celebration). We went up to Anacortes, then over to Deceptions pass. We walked some of the trails around the bridge and took in the views. From there we went down to Fort Casey, which is an old WW1 artillery post . It was pretty cool to walk through the old buildings and bunkers and to see the huge cannons! I wish I had pictures to share but our camera died before be got there. But none the less we had a great day together and can't wait until next week for our trip!

I've been tagged!

What were you doing ten years ago?
I was 13 and was in the midst of softball. I had just moved and started at a new school.

5 things on my to do list today.
1- get an oil change in Kevin's car
2- got to Game Stop for a Wii controller
3- clean up my primary mess on the table
4- go out with my brother for his birthday
5- get fruit for Kevin

Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire.
I would buy a home on the Eastside. Pay off my parent’s house. Help with my siblings schooling.
Get Kevin and I new cars, nothing fancy though. Kevin would probably get a Tundra and I would get a XL Yukon. Then we would go on a fun vacation.

Two of my bad habits:
1- I don't put my clothes away at the end of the day.
2- I don't like talking on the phone, so I tend to not call people back...sorry.

5 places I have lived (in order):
1- Kaysville, Ut
2- Redmond, WA
3-Provo, Ut
4- Rexburg, Id
5- Auburn, WA

I now tag Megan and Layne

I'm not sure what to do?

I just bought some vinyl lettering for our bedroom and I am not sure what to do with it. Should I just put it right on my wall or get a frame and put it onto the glass.

This is where I'm going to put it,Any ideas on what to do?

Conference Fun!

It was a great weekend for us. To be able to watch and hear the works of the new Prophet and his apostles was great. We also got to spend some good time with Kevin's family. In between sessions the play-dough was pulled out for the kids but once the session stated of course they didn't want to hang around anymore. So Kevin and I kept ourselves busy being creative.

Can you figure out who made what?

It's Baseball Time!

This Monday was opening day and we couldn't be more excited for the season! On Tuesday Kevin and I went to the game and had a great time.

It could have been better if it was warmer; it was the coldest game we've ever been to. We actually had to get up and walk around to keep warm. As we were walking around we found this perfect picture moment and couldn't pass it up.

We can't wait for spring to actually get here and the weather starts to warm up so we can go to another game and actually get to watch it instead of walking around. GO M'S!

March 28, 2008

Feels good to be home!

After 2912 miles, lots of softball, family and sun. It feels so good to be home! There were lot of good times on the trip. Belmont, Ca was not my favorite place, St. George on the other hand...I loved it! I am already planning another trip down there and this time I'll take Kevin.

March 23, 2008

What was I thinking!?

So my dad and I took off on Thursday for the San Fransisco to watch my sister play games against Notre Dame. We were having tons of fun and loved seeing Kerissa. But Saturday morning my dad had an idea. If anyone knows my dad when he gets ideas sometimes...most of the time they are crazy. But I thought I knew better then this but I agreed with him. So instead of driving home today we drove over to Las Vegas and down to St. George to watch her play against Dixie State. Now this all sounds good, and it is, but I just got thinking now we have to drive home. It's like a 20 hour drive! So now we'll get home Wednesday morning and after a lot of sun burn and butt pain from sitting that long, it will all be worth it!

March 14, 2008

It's The Little Things In Life

So can I tell you I love the feeling of new socks! Your feet just feel so cozy and comfy. If I could just buy new socks everyweek I would but I don't think Kevin would go for that.

Ebay! My New Favorite Thing!

So I had never really thought about buying anything from ebay before, but when I started looking for my b-day present and notice that you can actually get things for way less, I thought I'll try this out. So I set out to get my Denali Fleece! I started out doing pretty good, I thought, but I would always lose out in the last seconds. After losing out on 3 fleeces I was determined to win! So yesterday I kept my eye out on this one fleece, waited for the last 5min of the bid and had my watch in hand with a countdown to make sure I had enough time left. I placed my bid with 15 seconds left and I WON! After I won I was thinking what else I can buy on ebay! Really it was the most exciting way to buy something!

February 25, 2008

5 Months!

Since I last posted picutres of our place we have done a lot. My favorite addition has been our couch! I can actully watch a movie with Kevin and cuddle. :)

We also got a new TV. Are other one had been through a lot, was very old and big! So finally it just died one day. But I think we both ok with that.

I got that cute lader shelf for chirstmas and also the clock. Everything seems to be coming together.

As for improving the house cosmetically we did a lot right when we moved in but have not done much since. But we have started painting our doors that has turned out to be a pain. We tend to do a little there and a little here, we are both so busy that it taken some time to finish. Hopefully we will finish soon and be able to move on to something else.

February 14, 2008

Just call me a plumber!

I was so pround of myself last night! The toilet in the masterbath was almost always running water from the tank to the bowl and then the tank would have to fill its self. So I set out to fix it and I did! I know it's not that exciting but when things need fixing I tend to call the pro's to come fix it. So when I set out to fix it on my own and did it was awesome for me!

January 15, 2008

More snow!

So as little as Jojo is and as fast as she gets cold she loves the snow!
She will just run and run and run!

Christmas!

Well I know that It has been a couple weeks since Christmas I am now just getting to this. We've been having some problems with our Internet and it a ongoing problem that we are trying to fix. So with that said we had a great Christmas! Christmas eve we spent the night and my parents house and had a wonderful morning with them. Then we drove out to Kevin's parents to finish up the day! We had so much fun watching the little kids open their gifts. And who would have guess that in Washington we would ever get a white Christmas but it happened this year! We got about 4in! It was a wonderful day!
