Poor Baby Girl

Saturday night we had an unexpected trip to the ER. I had just finished feeding her and she fell out of her Bumbo and hit her head on the edge of the centerpiece on the table. It looked like it was a deep cut but we didn't know if we should take her in or not. We called up Auntie, who is a nurse. She talked to her mom who is also a nurse. They both said that you could take care of it at home but there might be a scar if not done right. So we decided to take her in just in case she needed stitches.
She did really good considering we left for the ER right when she should have been going to bed, not to mention she didn't take a good nap. She was all smiles and full of giggles. The only time she cried was when the Dr. first looked at it. She didn't even cry when they cleaned it up.
After 4 hours we were on our way home with a clean cut and some neosporin on it.

The Good, The Bad and The Cute

The Good:
Blakley has gotten good enough at sitting up that her and Grayson can take baths together.
The Bad:
These two are already causing trouble. Grayson pulled out all the wipes so Blakley could play with them...isn't he so nice.
The Cute:
After every nap Grayson loves to go get "sissy". Blakley bounces up and down while Grayson jumps and runs around her. They love it!

Happy {heart} Day

This picture is my kids to a "t". Never sitting still. Never listening.
Just being them.
Hope everyone had a great Valentine's day.

New Trick = Bad Nap Time

Baby girl started pulling herself up this week. What!? I guess this means she is really growing up. I still look at her and think she can't be doing that...she is still so small. (Side story: the kids started going to a new pediatrician and after the nurse had measured her, she came in and did it herself just to make sure it was right. That's how small she is)
Her new trick has led to this while she is trying to go down for a nap. Poor girl, she has learned how to pull up but can't get down. So she will end up stuck standing and crying waiting for someone to lay her back down.

Post It

The other day while I was doing the laundry Grayson found these little post it notes. I came out to the kitchen and asked, what's going on? They both looked at me and just smiled. I sat down with them and Grayson said, here you go and proceeded to stick some on my face.
Look at how cool I look mom!
Blakley could tell she had something on her head but couldn't really figure it out.
She was finally able to reach up and grab them off her head. Yummy!

Love Them!

We are still trying to kick the sick over here. This picture says it all.
Blakley's nose would just not stop running. I feel like between the three of us I'm wiping, blowing and wiping noses all day long.
Grayson is feeling better but still has his running nose. This is the face he makes when we ask him to smile. This picture makes it look better but it is kinda creepy looking.
